		<description>The canned goods look lovely. Enjoy.  My mother was a prolific canner -- her peaches, applesauce and tomotoes were great.  She also made her own catsup and it was awful, thin, brown, runny, a burnt flavor.  In 2nd grade a friend&#039;s family took me to a Howard Johnson, and I saw this red stuff on the table, had no idea what it was.  

But I should point out that my mother&#039;s pickles were superb, bread-and-butter my favorites.  Thanks for kick-starting a memory.</description>
